Throughout this World War II scrapbook I have learned that it was never a smooth ride, what war is? World War II consisted of many countries main ones including Germany, Britain, U.S and Japan followed by many other countries that were involved.Lasting from 1939-1945 the nations formed two sides the Allies and Axis. With Hitler wanting to take over the better half of Europe and Africa this was the most widespread war in history. Even though the Allied force took the victory it still had some lasting results and the cold war was soon followed by World War II.The after fact of this war still effects the world today with over 60 million lives lost this will be a war that is never forgotten with Europe and some of Asia still laying in ruins. All of these things are signifcant because without learning about this war teenagers would be drivig around town un aware of what the term "vertran" meant. People fought, people died, familes lost loved ones all for some territory in other countries. If people dont have a full understanding of the WWII then they are not in tune and caught up with the rest of the world. Each generation needs to carry on these memories and make sure they are never forgotten. Before this project I had a very mimal amount of knowledge towards WWII and know when people talk about this historic event I can keep up and share my own views.
